Diary of a new shooter part 2

Ok did anyone else think about shooting constantly when they were new? I am even having trouble sleeping.
I got one heck of a deal on a Stevens shotgun yesterday..115.00 bucks it looked like crap but a few hours cleaning and it looks great. I am looking into the modifications on the action now. Found great deal on a black leather duster. It was in a pawn shop they wanted over 100.00 for it but got out for 50.00. Heck it was even XL Tall. I am down to one or two non cas guns that I was gettin rid of. It feels wierd to be sellin of guns I thought I could never be without. I have a set of Bisley Stainless Vaqueros on the way. I cant wait till they get here. My backup lever gun will get here soon too. I know the 94 Winchester isnt looked upon too well but for backup to my 92 it will be fine. I also got a good deal on a 1895ss Marlin in 45/70. That should get here sometime next week or so.
I am gettin my reloading stuff together too. I havent used my Dillion 45O much so I had to find all my stuff again...
I am still on the lookout for an illusive cheap Ruger blackhawk in 41 magnum.. that will get my a set of backup pistols.
My new leather from Big ED will be here in a couple of weeks.. I cant wait. Got one heck of a deal too.
I cant wait until my next match.....if anyone thinks I am loosing my mind speak up..my wife will agree with ya.
Thanks to everyone that has helped me along the way...if ever you are in fortworth come and shoot with us.... if your just in town holler Ill let you use my stuff....lord knows I have fooled around and got enough....
I still need to build a gun cart...I like the idea of an inclosed one. I have made some drawings of what I want it to look like. My concern is making it too top heavy. I want it too look like an old bank safe , I happen to have a period one here at my house.. Its a little too heavy to push around.
Ill end my book for now...let me know if you guys are enjoying my diary or not...if I am boring ya let me know....

Tell you wife, she's right, you have lost your mind, but what a great way to send it packing!! Fun ain't it! Keep the diary going, helps me remember what fun it really was/is.

Gun carts are another way that a pard show's his individuality.
Just remember as you are designing yours that you have to get it from home to the range and back again. I've seen some fantastic ones but it took a team of oxen to lift them up and out of the truck and then back again at the end of the match.

Since its going to look like an old bank safe it will have to be painted. I am thinking of using aluminum for the frame work and the outside metal work.. I know its not period material but once its painted no one will be able to tell. I just want to make sure it doesnt tip over.

You might be able to start with a golt cart or something and build on that. Here's one just using the cart.
