fill screws for my contender barrel
« on: January 31, 2003, 11:52:50 AM »
I need a set of fill screws for my contender barrel. I went to the local gun store and hardware no one has any.
Does anyone have 2 extra blued screws they could part with? I just hate looking at  the two empty screw holes on the end of my barrel

Filling front sight holes

You call also fill the holes with hot glue.  Trim off the excess with a razor.  Looks good on a blue barrel, not sure how it would look on stainless..        Glue can be removed with a needle.

Sorry Rickyp,  I checked and all that I have are 8-40s, I think you need 6-48s.  Atleast they would not start in my T/C

Gregory's idea will also work. Last time I called T/C w/ a request for (1) pair of front sight filler screws, they sent me (4) pair, all free.   Gary T.
