Security six grip compared to Redhawk grip?

I am interested in getting a Redhawk 44mag.But unsure how it will handle recoil compared to my SRH. I have a Security six in .357 and the grips appear to be quite similar. Just how close are they? Will this give me a close comparison to  how the Redhawk will serve recoil?
