replace buckmark barrel

how easy would it be to make your own buckmark barrel. I am not familair with the gun, but would buy one if it was easy to make my own custom one.

Easy can be difficult to define.  It is possible but would likely require a mill although a small bench mill would do.  It would be possible with hand tools but time comsuming and a bit difficult.  I've included a link below that will take you to a parts blow up for the Buckmark.  As you can see the barrel uses a key system and a set screw to attach it to the frame.  Rigidity will depend of the fit..  Perhaps a barrel block can be bought and that would surely simplify the process.  Easy almost always is defined by the person doing the task..

The lug on the buckmark is soldered on.  You could take it off and reatach to the new barrel. That would save a lot of machine work.

Brownells sells aftermarket barrels for the Buckmark, Clark I believe.
