Has anyone had any reliability out of there Winchester 1400?? I am restoring one.

not sure about 1400 but i own 2 1300's and they are the most reliable guns i have seen 1 is probably 10yrs old i bought i used as my first gun this year i put it through hell including dropping it in a swamp has not failed to go bang yet also cant get the thing to jam hope this helps a little

I have a model 1400, 20 ga., vent rib, 28" barrel, modified choke that my dad bought me in the mid 70's. I have hunted just about every kind of small game/upland game you can imagine and it has always functioned well.  It doesnt have the reputation that say a Browning from that era but I have had alot of enjoyment out of it over the years.
