Tang Sight Question
«
on:

I have a Marbles Tang sight on my 1885. It is sighted in for 100 yards. The caliber is 38-55, so my long shot (with my old eyes) is probably 150 yards. The sight does not have a indicator or scale for sight adjustment. I have it marked for 100 yards. No sure of the hold over for 150. Should I also mark that on the sight? Anybody else use this sight? Any tips?
Thanks.

If I understand your question correctly.
Yes, I would mark the sight for each distance you want to reference.
I have mine marked and sighted in for the following distances, at 50, 100 and 150 yds on the sight, just for quick reference points.
