Ultramax and Black Hills Ammo for 308

I hear good things about these in .223 and I am wondering if any of you use these brands in 308.  The ultramax is reloaded ammo.  Thanks for any input guys!!

Jeff...

I haven't used the ultramax ammo...but Black Hills makes some really good stuff...you can also check out Natchezz and mid-South Shooters supply...they have a good selection of ammo to choose from...they also have some of the finest 308 target ammo as well...it's called Lapua...

Take a look at the "light magnum" in .308 by Hornady.I have had great success with the load using their 165 grain spbt.

I have used Ultramax and Black hills in 308...both are good choices...esp considering how cheap the Ultramax is selling for..the Black Hills is more consistent than Federal GMM...don't get me wrong FGMM is good stuff at $10 a box, but places that sells it for 20+ it's not worth that price at least in my opinion...now if you can find a good deal...I recommend Norma Oryx...I found some on sale a few years ago and this ammo is great...have been used a lot on game in Europe and how can you go wrong with Norma brass.

Thanks guys.  I am going to try both of these.  I need a good accurate brand that I can also hunt with.  If they dont do well for me, I will at least have some more brass!!!
