NEF/H&R Barrel Interchangability
« on: December 24, 2004, 05:28:20 AM »
Are the receivers on the new rifle/shotguns the same?

Are there heavy barrel blanks available to fiddle around with?

What's the largest rifle caliber anyone has created?

Did they ever make an 8 gauge? Could an 8 bore shotgun/rifle be done?

I saw barrels for the 32 guage shotgun are available, does anyone know if these will fit? What years were the 32 gauge made?

Thanks and Happy Holidays to all

the recievers of the rifle and shotguns are different. they are tempered differently to withstand different ammounts of pressure.

you cant get barrel blanks from NEF/H&R but you may be able to get some from somewhere else and weld the lugs from an nef to it.

larget i am awareof is a 50/90

Iam not aware of an 8 guage being made larget i have heard of is a 10 guage. Using a 10 ga sb2 frame a fellow *might* beable to make an 8 bore

last qustion i have no idea on.

have a good one.
