GRAYBEARD. I appologize Sir. I had promised myself that I would not allow myself to be baited into another pissing match like this but I guess I lied to myself. Some people bring out the worst in me. I am sorry Sir. POWDERMAN.

:? Dali Llama inquire where be apology to poster whose name be "creatively spelled" and trashed repeatedly over many moons? :?   Dali opine that apology not be owed to Graybeard, as Graybeard's name and reputation not be besmirched or sullied, but to Dali, who powderman DID offend. :?

Wheres the Deer????
« Reply #69 on: January 18, 2005, 04:46:45 PM »
I have an opinion...and its just that.....like (censored word), everyone has one....

Hunters as a whole are aging.....More 45, 55 and 65 year old guys out there than 25 year olds.....
Especially during gun seasons.

Seems to me as folks get older they might not hunt as hard as they once might have.  I hear this every year from the "get out of the truck, walk 300 yards and sit down crowd":  'there aint any deer here...'

Ohio has always had a liberal doe hunting outlook and I think it has benefited the deer greatly........Ohio has 179 B&C Typicals that score over 160, PA has 22.  52 of the Ohio deer score 200 or better, PA has 5 over 200.   During the 2002-2003 season Ohio had 11 Deer score over 200 B&C....PA has had  only 5 that did so since B&C started scoring Whitetail Deer.

Aptly worded by resident of Buckeye State, note Dali Llama.
