Titanium firing pin?
« on: December 26, 2004, 04:38:49 AM »
Is it worth the cost to install a titanium firing pin in my xp-100 silhouette gun. Also, they are expensive. Brownells has them for $68. Are there any other sources (cheaper)?
JM :?

First are they worthwhile.  Only to those at the cery top of one of the rifle games, and even then I somewhat doubt their value.  They are a bit less reliable than the factory pins and are NOT cheap.  You might also look at MidwayUSA's gunsmith pages...   In my opionion you'd be better of sping that money on reloading components and practice...
