My wife picked up one of these for her cat once.  It only lasted about two weeks though.    I like the idea of mounting one on teh end of a stick, I might try to find another one.

I bought a Rigor RAbbit a couple of weeks ago and didn't like it at ALL.

I'll start another topic about it though.....

Are you sure you can use them for hunting. No motorized decoys in PA.

check ebay.  i did a search and had to use "weasel ball" and found two for sale.

i was thinking that would be a good way to go for a decoy.  of course i like the idea of using our dog for one,  but my wife would kill me if so much as a hair was out of place.

 good luck.

Myronman, If you use a dog that's not trained to decoy coyotes one of two things will most likely happen:

1.  When the coyotes come in the dog will jump in your lap and pee all over you; or

2.  The coyotes will get it before you can get them.

Then your wife will be REALLY pi$$ed at you :(

naw, he's too friendly and wouldnt be able to imagine they wouldnt be friendly.

and as far as the coyotes getting him before i get them,  i have an ar 15, seven 30 round mags, and three years as a ranger with the 82nd (3/504p.i.r.) that says they wouldnt raise a hair off him.

even so, i still wouldnt want to risk the beating she would give me.   :-D  :)  :-D

Myronman, you should try using a decoy dog sometime.  It's pretty neat.

Oh yeah, I'm glad to hear you're humping your butt up and down Ardens :-D

Myself, I don't like hunting with the thirty round mags.  They hang down too far.  The ten rounders that came with my Colt are what I use when I'm hunting.

I know what you mean about wives getting mad about stuff.  Who knew mine didn't want her cat to learn how to call coyotes :-D  :-D  :-D

been a few years now.    now that i think about it, i got out 1 jan 04, so today is the eleventh year since i was in.  man how it goes by fast.

yeah, i saw a video where they used dogs to lure coyotes in.  i would love to get a dog that was up to that.   but we are a one dog house and the one we have deserves to live the rest of his years in peace; he is so good with my boys, even though he is old.    although i love to joke about using him for it.  :)

cats.  that is another subject entirely (me and cats dont get along).
