Leupold factory authorized Scope Refinisher?
« on: December 28, 2004, 12:47:27 PM »
Folks -

I have a Vari-X III 1.75x-6x scope that my Dad had mounted on an inline muzzleloader.  The finish on the mid-lower part of the scope is worn off from the blast of touching off the smokepole.  I am moving the scope to a center fire deer rifle, and would like to get it refinished first.

I recall someone mentioning that there is a Leupold factory authorized outfit out there that does superb work, around $90 per scope.  Can anyone give me a lead on this?

Thanks- Mawgie

Premier Reticles does this but for quite a bit more in cost, almost as much as the scope is worth!

I found it, folks:

While not factory "authorized", they are factory "recomended."
I'll let you know how I make out..........
