Has anyone seen or does anyone have one of the new heavy barreled .223 or .243? Their site says they are shipping and available, but haven't seen on anywhere.

SSS, hadn't thought much about the Rossi until you brought them up. Am in the market for a .223 and would like to play with one of the heavy barrels before I go the H&R route. Web site pictures really look good. The only Rossi I have ever owned, and I still have it, is a 4" barrel .22 revolver and it is a great little gun.

I have a 223 Rossi Heavy barrel  I bought last fall....in fact was shooting it today. Half inch groups at 50 yards on a cold, windy , foggy day here in northern Oklahoma. Shooting with a pillow out of my pickup. Shoots better than my 243 Handi and about the same as my Encore 7mm-08. Also have a Rossi 17 HMR, it really has a hard trigger pull, unlike my 223. :D  :D
