Heck, it ain't with me anymore, but my only Winchester that I would have owned was my grandpa's Model 94 .30-.30. It was stolen a few years ago and since it was bought so long ago, no serial# was recorded and tracking it down will be impossible.

I have a nice Model 1912, in sixteen gauge that sure is nice.  It was restored by Winchester Restorations. Very early gun with matted barrel and nickel steel barrel.  I have owned several 101s that I really enjoyed and miss very much.  And I still have my 20ga. model 1400 that my dad bought me back in the mid 70's.  My dream Winchester would be a 20ga. Model 21 with 28" barrels, factory engraved, choked Mod and Full.  But that is only a dream!

#1 Hunter, I also have a Featherweight.  It's chambered in 300WSM and I really like it.  It's got a beautiful walnut stock with some tiger striping in the grain.  They did a really good job on the bluing also.

This rifle is a joy to carry in the mountains of Colorado where I elk hunt at, and it's plenty accurate to take shots at extremely long ranges.  I took a nice ten point whitetail this year at a laser range finder verified 426 yards with this gun.

The only thing I've done to it so far is a trigger job.  I'll probably glass bed it this winter/summer to stop any warpage from wet weather.

Currently, I'm having the most fun working out with a Mod. 70 Supergrade in .338.  Finally got a great load worked up with 225 grn. Partitions that show promise.

Good stock design results in comfortable recoil levels, and after having a knowledgeble buddy work my trigger over I'm getting decent groups.

Just having a lot of fun with this rifle, and it's got one of the most beatiful pieces of wood on it that I've ever seen on a factory rifle.

Every once in a while Winchester gets it right!

Good shooting to you all! :D

I'm partial to the older levers and my current favorite is my Model 65 in 218 Bee (replaced my Model 55 take-down in 30-30).

Gee, tough one, but here goes; my 20 gage Model 12 is a great little bird gun and my Model 70 Featherweight in 7x57 is pure poison on whitetall deer.

I love'em all,but my M94 Trials End in 44WCF is a real winner in my book. Deadly accurate with my handloads using .429 cast.

Mine is my pre '64 Winchester model 88 in 308 Win. My dad bought it brand new in 1962 when he was 16 years old. I don't think I'll buy any newer Winchester's again. I bought three of them over the last 15 years and have had nothing but trouble with ALL of them. I was looking at a brand new Winchester model 70 in 300 WSM today at Gander Mountain, but I really don't think I'll ever buy a newer Winchester again! I'll also never get rid of my model 88 either. It shoots one inch groups with Remington's 150 gr. Pointed Soft Point Core-Lokt ammo all day long. This rifle and ammo combo works great on whitetail deer!

My favorite was my low serial # model 92 in .32-20 that I stupidly sold. I made a real nice profit on it, but I can't replace it. My next favorite is that pre-64 model 70 in .30-06 my dad better give me soon, or I'll put him in an old folks home.

I have two favorites; a '56 vintage Model 70 .270 that my dad gave me, and a '57 vintage Model 70 .300 H&H that my father-in-law just recently gave me.

Oddly enough, both rifles were received as high school graduation presents. The .270 was my dad's deer rifle and has seen some serious field time. The stock has been cut and a recoil pad added, which kills it's collector value, but it's priceless to me.

The .300 H&H is all original and has had a grand total of 4 rounds down the tube. My father-in-law fired 4 rounds at paper and decided the recoil was too much, so it was stored away until I got it. When he gave it to me, the only condition he layed down was that I'd actually use it. As soon as October rolls around again, I plan to keep my end of the bargain.....

My late father's Winchester Model 72 .22 rifle.  It brings back many fond memories.

1952 m94 30-30. After getting this one a couple years ago I found that I love shooting 30-30. And the pre-64 m94 Winchester was so nice to have that a few weeks ago I found myself getting another 1952 m94 30-30 . Both in excellent original shape; both shooters.

Bad part is this has ruined generic bolt guns for me-- used to think that when I do get a bolt gun again that any of the reasonalbly priced excellent Rem/Savage/Rugers on the used rack would do just fine, and already have scope rings.

But now I don't think I could get anything but a Winchester.

My favorite big game rifle is a pre-64 Alaskan in .338 Winchester Magnum.  My favorite ringneck gun is a Model 21 12 gauge with 28 inch barrels bored IC/M.

A Model 94 Trapper in .45 LC. It's amazingly accurate. I've split playing cards with it from 50 feet many times. Also have a 9422 in .22lr that I got about 11 years ago. If it could talk, there would be some interesting stories.

My favorites are my Model 70 Super Express in .375 H&H Mag and my Model 23 20 gauge Pigeon grade s/s shotgun.

I wish I would have never sold my beat-up Model 1987 12 gauge shotgun. I sold it because at the time, when I was 18 and wet behind the ears, I only wighed about 150 lbs. and the damned thing kicked like a mule.
