Buzzard, where do you anchor the snare at, in the water or up on the bank?  Do you attach it to a drowner? Worm

I went out today and set up a couple of those snare castor mound sets. I anchored them with long beaver sticks on the bank with tangle stick in the water. Caught a 40lb'er on a standard castor mound with a #4 dls. perfect front foot catch with beaver waiting at the bottom of the drowner. I used heavy rocks at the end of the drowner and a few long poles of others. We're getting a warm spell thats thinning the ice and the beaver are out cutting up the trees. Should have a few in the am. Thanks, Worm.
