LONG BULLETS IN A 6.5X55 HOWA

Does anyone know the barrel twist in a Howa legacy in 6.5x55?
The Walmart site list them as having a 1 in 9 and I was under the impression that one needs a 1 in 8 to shoot the longer slugs
