Is this bow damaged?
« on: December 29, 2004, 01:20:57 PM »
My son shoots a PSE Firestorm Lite. This evening he took a shot on a deer that was almost underneath his stand. When he released, the cam came down and hit the shooting rail of the stand. It never broke but it did put a good dent in the cam. Did this hurt the cam in anyway where it is unsafe to draw the bow? Everything seems to be OK with the limb.

Thanks for any input.

If there is a good dent in the cam you should have it replaced.  It might be ok for now but it could change the dynamics of how the bow works eventually resulting in a cracked limb or the cam coming apart.

I can't tell you about the bow but I'm curious; did your son get the deer?
