How about an exact copy of the original Triplelock?
Or maybe being able to order the type of options that used to be available, like any barrel length, different sights, grips, finishes, etc.
These things would all be cost-prohibitive now.
I guess I'm "old school".

i would like them to go back to the old N style barrel, no underlug. NO more stainless, blue and nickel.
That is why I like my older revolvers and probably won't buy any new.

I would want an old-style N-frame with a 4" barrel and fixed sights, blued, in .45 Colt or .44 Special or .357 mag. Every time I watch Indiana Jones throw his into his suitcase in "Raiders of the Lost Ark," I wish I could reach through the screen and pull it out. They were the coolest wheelgun Smith ever made.

Mine would be a 686 with full factory engraving and ivory grips.  That way when I wasn't out shooting it I could just look at it.
If I ever hit the lottery I might just get one. :)

I think the N frame mountain guns are just about perfect. I would like to see S&W produce them as a regular item, not just special runs.

I still regret the 657 mountain gun I missed out on a few years ago. :(

I agree with the K frame 32mag. I would also add a J frame 3" scadium 32 mag with regular sights not the high viz kit gun.  Jerry J

Make it an L frame 32 mag. Add a 8 3/8 barrel & the old integeral (out on the barrel) scope mounts (similar to the Rugers).
 :)  :)

Maybe enough cylinder space to go 8 rounds too!!! :-D  :-D

HHEEEEYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!  Not fair, it seems a couple people stole my idea about a K .32 magnum.  I would suggest a K frame .32 magnum in the mountain gun style (4" tapered barrel, shrouded ejector rod) with the old style deep blue, no lock, wood grips.  they could even make it a 7 or 8 shot if they wanted.

That is my dream S&W

Let me see, I'll take a stainless model 45, with a four inch pencil barrel, just a pencil barreled model 64(sights and all) only in .22LR. If Smith decided to make some of these I would order a couple tomorro.

Nice to see there are a few more .32 mag fans out there.

How abaout an alloy framed kit gun in .32 mag with adjustable sights & a 4" barrel... a nice trail piece that would make!

Also, anyone seen the custom shop Light Hunters? i have one in .44 , but would like to see some variations built on K-frame with maybe a 7.5" barrel, and integral scope mount rib...offer it in .22, .22Mag, and .32 mag, with a good action job, in either blue or matte stainless. Might just make the ultimate small game revolver...

Maybe even a steel J-Frame with 6 inch barrel in .22, .22 mag, or.32 mag in a target configuration with a heavy slab-side barrel, target sights, and target hammer....

I want a K-32.  Not the mag, a real K-32 like from 1953 to match my k-22, and k38.

Other than that I want the beautiful blue finish on a M57 4 inch.

If we are talking bottom feeders then bring back the 52.

Tripple lock in 44 special
Return of the 696
And a Keith replica
I'd also like to see BlueMagnum grips as a factory option and start making recessed cylinders.

Be Safe,
Scott

Hello
I searched since they introduced this model 16-4 for one to no avail. Last year I was able to find this new in box one so grabbed it. For those that do not own one, they are a super revolver. I love mine and it is real accurate. I feel S&W need's to bring back this caliber in a medium framed gun, but NOW that the K-frame is gone feel we wont see it.I always figured this was more of an "L" frame due to the barrel lug, and would like to see them make this available even if it was a stainless"L" frame. They only made 8800 of these so if you want one you will have to pay the price.. Hammerdown

A model 629 .44 Mag (or 625 .45 Colt) with a 4" full underlug barrel. I think it would be much more shootable than my 629 Mountain Gun, which seems to stand straight up with even factory loads. :D
