If you are interested in adding to your layering possibilities, I can highly recommend the merino wool sweaters available from Sierra Trading Post.  At $20 you can't go wrong and the cold weather performance is great.

There are also wool dress pants that I use in the summer which out perform cotton, microfiber and nylon.  I find wool dress pants from Eddie Bauer outlet, Lands End clearance sale and those like these.  Pick up a few pair to try for your summer garb.

Wool is the finest outdoor fabric IMO.  All of my hunting pants are milsurp wool pants that I purchased for $10-16.  By the way, Sierra Trading Post often has fabulous deals!
