? scope a drilling ?

Hope someone can help us out... My neighbor has a drilling, we believe it is setup for a scope mount?? What info do I need to collect to determine if this is so, and can I perhaps find one??? Thanks for any info or guidance... Marty

they are called claw mounts and are quite rare.. they increase the value of the drilling considerably..  and thus originals can be expensive.. dave..
