Ruger SBH Hunter, .44: What's it worth?
« on: December 31, 2004, 01:13:26 PM »
Folks -

I have a one year old, under 500 round, mint Ruger SBH Hunter (7.5" Stainless, .44 Mag, factory integral stainless scope mounts) that I am getting ready to sell.  It's perfect, with all original packaging.

Could someone give me an idea of its: 1) retail value; and 2) trade in value?

I paid a touch over $500 for it new...................

Thanks-Mawgie

well seeing as how i have had one for sale here for 425, with not one nibble, i will say less than $425.   :)

man, i wish i could find deals like that when i was looking.

llyod has a sbh with a nice scope for sale also; sweet deal.  wish i would have crossed tracks with it bbefore i got the hunter.   i think his is still for sale, also.

O U C H !!

I wanted to get $450 out of it to put toward a Browning Citori, but that ain't gonna happen, now is it?  At somewhere less than $425, I think I'll just pull the scope (Nikon 1.5x-4.5x) and sell that, and let the gun set, to be shot occasionally with open sights.

Thanks, but that hurt!!

Happy New Year-Mawgie

I've kinda had my eyes open for a 44 Hunter 'cept I only have handguns and Marlins to swap.
