What lever action rifles have you resolved to build, buy, borrow, or beg for in the new year?

continue to harass my uncle about my grandfather pre-'64 M94
" oh we didn't sink the bismarck, and we didn't fight at all, we spent our time in Norfolk and we really had a ball. chasing after women while our ship was overhauled, living it up on grapefruit juice and sick bay alcohol"

I guess I should have said, I resolve to pick up a reproduction '73 chambered for the 38 WCF, and anything else that I just can't live without.

45-70: maybe an 1886, or 1895CB, or Guide Gun.
Also like to try reloading for the first time, and 45-70 seems like the perfect round to learn by. So I need to find a simple reloading press--probablty a turret press (?). Maybe I should start reloading 30-30 to learn.

I don't make "resolutions" anymore. Haven't in several years. I do generally sit down a make a list of what my "aspirations" are for the coming year. This time none involve a lever gun. However I find that I'm really terrible at over coming temptation when it is placed in front of me. I have a disease that causes me to see a gun and feel I just plain can't live another day without it. Terribly bad for the bank account.

However I'd not rule out a .22 Mag lever rifle this year. Either a Henry or Winchester 94-22M. If it happens this one will be used with factory irons most likely. I think I see a very strong possibility I'll pick up another Browning BL-22 if the right deal comes along. If Marlin does in fact offer the .32-20 as they are supposed to one of those might come home with me. Should be a natural to turn into a .25-20 I'm still yearning for after nearly 50 years of being without one but wanting it. Or I might get a Winchester M92 Clone in .357 Mag and turn it into a .25-20. I think I'd really like it to be an M92 or clone but don't really want to pay the price folks want for original M92s.

Sorta doubt any other lever will find it's way to my house but with my disease you really never know. Some times those guns just kinda call my name, they whisper sweetly in my ear and make promises to me I just have to see if they will really keep.  :-D

Well I think I am goint to try to make a trade for a model 99. I had a .243 in a 99 years ago and loved the rifle. I now have a nice sportered 8x57 Turk, that would be a good trading tool.
