Same here, fish year round, except during deer season Which ended yesterday. The weather has been accommodating too. We had a week of cold days (20s) over Christmas, but it's back up to 74 again today. The few cold days has not cooled the water to any large degree, so the fishing is still fairly good. Several buddys who don't hunt have taken good limits of crappie out of several local lakes. I'll be gearing up for my annual trip to Lake Fork the end of the month. Maybe we can find a really big one this year.
Yep! if an y"all gets the chance we gots fishing year round down here, come on down and join us.
Only problem, I checked my boat last week before the cold weather, flipped the tarp back and whoa, who's dead cats in my boat? Two of the darn things. I've got some prep work on the old Skeeter before she goes to the lake again. I just hope I don't have to replace the carpet.
