"Sixguns" is probably the one must read, "Hell I was there" is his life story. Both come up on Ebay regularly, or you can get them on Amazon.com. Big Bore handguns by John Taffin is pretty good also.

Books and Research Material
Out of print Booksellers http://abebooks.com/
Book Trail Outdoor Books http://www.booktrail.com/Default.asp
Ray Riling Arms Books http://www.rayrilingarmsbooks.com/cgi-bin/rrb455.cgi/index.html

For new books my favorite is Gunbooksales.com  http://www.gunbooksales.com/.

The Out of print Booksellers http://abebooks.com/  is a good resource also. Just type in the authors name and hit search and you will find dealers all over the world selling books.  A good Keith book to look for here is the The Firearms Classic Library edition of  Big Game Rifles and Sixgun Cartridges  and laods from Paladium press.  The is a fine leather bound reprint of two Elmers books.  Here's a link to the hit list to the Palladium books: http://dogbert.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?bx=off&sts=t&ds=30&bi=0&pn=palladium+press&an=Elmer+Keith&sortby=2

Here is the hit list for all Elmer Keith books with keywords guns and shooting: http://dogbert.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?bx=off&sts=t&ds=30&bi=0&an=Elmer+keith&kn=guns%2C+shooting&sortby=2

If you do just Elmer Keith you will get a lot more hits, but there is another Elemr Keith.

That ought to keep you busy.

Sixguns is the book. I have read his other work and it is really not very good. While a lot of the details in Sixguns is out of date because of technological improvements, it's still worth reading multiple times.  It's available in reprint form for about $20 if I recall correctly.
