Take the RWS rings and set them side by side with the B-Square and they sure look alike.
OK I knew they looked quite familiar after I stared at them for awhile. I was going to suggest they looked alike (the rings), but I was recalling from memory, not an actual picture.
Those flimsy adjustables are nothing but problems, require lots of tinkering and fiddling, and won't hold a zero for long.
Dave, I know what you mean now. When I first put it on the 350, it worked fine. After a few shots though, it ended up shooting wacky; I knew somethin' was loose as I heard and felt somethin' moving and rattling in the base area. It turned out the setting screws or whatever they are that allow the rings to turn (the windage feature I assume), as well as the actual base were loosened slightly. I was, shall we say frustrated, and made sure they wouldnt come loose again. So I tightened them up real good, and they haven't seemed to let up yet. Either way, I'm not sure I would want to stick with them; I do like one thing though, and that is the ring design. I didn't have to worry much about the scope turning in the rings as I tightened the screws. Maybe that is a bad feature???
Someone know where would be a good place to look up the mounts Lawdog stated?
heh heh, its kind of funny, I made sure they were tight alright; I was truely on the verge of stripping out the hex-wrench socket on the screws. The hex-wrench was "jumping" inside the socket as I tightened them hard. Remember, this was for the windage feature on the rings, not the actual screws that hold the scope.....maybe shouldn't have done that...Maybe I shouldn't have to go that far to have a reliable and rock solid base/mounts either.
