Opinion on the perfect scope for a Marlin 1894cl in .218 bee

I bought this rifle a few years ago at a friends of the NRA banquet. I was thinking this lever action rifle would make a good coyote gun. I have been having problems lately with coyotes stealing my chickens. I have already killed two with my .243 but it makes a little too much noise. Since this rifle is so light and compact I don't know which scope would be better suited.
The max range would be 200 yds. My price range is more or less $250.
Thanks in advance.

what kind of mag. are you looking into??
Since its a light-weight gun, maybe a fixed power 6x.........IDK if thats enough mag. for you at 200 yards, but it would keep it light weight......

I was considering either a 6x or a 2-7x

Bushnell Banner 1.5x4.5 will work perfectly and won't ruin the light feel and handling characteristics of your rifle. Most of the time I see coyotes near the house they are moving and a bit more fiel of view is nice.

Leupold makes a nice 2-7x compact in that price range.
