Haven't seen a guide gun in a .35 Remington, but saw a nice standard 336 Marlin in .35 Remington last week.  Price was $285 ......I had a hard time walking away from it!

Yeah, I've been looking for a 336D myself.  I find one or two every year, but I'm not willing to mortgage the house for a .35 Rem.  If I run across one, I'll let you know.

I bought a 336 .35 for $285.  A gunsmith will cut down the barrel and mag. for about $80.  mine is going in some time in the next month.

Got mine when they were first shipped to Davidson's and have only seen maybe 4 other being for sale since then.  Just about the perfect brcuh gun IMHO.  I wish you luck in your quest for one.

It took Davidson's near 2 years to sell that run of 500 336's in 35 Rem. They are probably in collector status right now with the necessary letter and authentication. Could be an expensive long wait with so few out there. :D

You might have to keep your eye to the ground for some time for a 336/35 D.
I did for quite some time, thien came accross a 336/35 RC made in '54.

Ballard rifling and a straight grip . very good groups for a 35.

You might be pleased to widen your search to include an older RC

Lloyd-

Guns Galore in Fenton, MI has a 336D on the rack as of 2 weeks ago when I was in there last.  If memory serves the price tag read $469 or some such.  Probably more than you want to pay, but I thought I'd pass it along.

On another site, I tripped across a post stating that Marlin was preparing to run a limited edition Stainless 336 .35 Remington in a Guide Gun configuration.   Of course, I can't speak to the validity of this but I am here to tell you: if that does come to fruition, I may have to find a way to snag one.  I have been wanting a .35 Remington and that would just be different enough to make it stand out in a crowd.

Yes, I too had heard some rumblings about a stainless .35 coming from Marlin.  I'd plunk down my money for one as well.
