sorry it tool so long for me to get with you guys we dropped our keyboard one to many times and it died on me so i could still read everything but just  couldn't write back.  

i would love to ride down with you guys and in an RV sounds real good and i would be happy to give my share in the gas i don't know about the driving i don't know how i would do on something that big but i would be happy to shell out for some gas. and if the RV  falls through we can still all ride down together in car ran truck whatever save some money for all of us.

I finally got back on here!!!  Been down at school this week, and it was called off Thurs. and Fri. due to flooding, so I made it back home here tonight.  I would be interested in going still, depending on the date.  I have training for the guard in either June or July, so I'm not exactly sure what dates I have open since they change it once in awhile.  I did put a 6-24x40 Mil-Dot Bushnell Banner on my .223 today, so we'll see how it shoots now, should work great on the prarie pups, and pasture plumbers.  I'm about an hour or so north of you fuzzy, about 6 or 8 minutes off of rte. 23.  Get me a date for it, but I'd be interested in it for sure.

Dang I can go financialy and time wise,but wife's been sick and it will be touch and go. Motel or rv and bag is fine but this ole man need s ashower daily and a close coffee pot,those are my only two demands.I live in Castalia,near Sandusky glad to see I have varmint hunting neighbors.I am deer hunter gone soft,I would probably shoot a old trophy buck anymore but I'd shoot a bunch of yotes and other ferral critters.

If we drive together it would be like a non-stop drive and that would give us more time there,and a lota bs time while going.

I'll keep in touch

hey fuzzy from my house to Guymon  is 1127.7 miles!!! thats an awful lot of gas to go through RV. what kind of miles does that thing get??

If my math is right, it will cost about $90.24/person on the fuel.  That's with 5 people riding, $2.00/gal., 2256 miles roundtrip.  I don't know how it does on gas mileage, but I threw 10 miles/gal. on it for the gas mileage.  Yeah, I got too much time on my hands!  I figure that you could probably get by for under $200 bucks before you threw in the cost of the ammunition.  Anybody have a set date for this shindig yet?

(Oh yeah, we can probably get by for cheaper than that, depending on if it's diesel, or gas, where we get it at, gas mileage, people riding, etc...)

I am with graybeard. I cant imagine someone not being 100% truthful with guys out shooting prairie dogs. That would be like someone catching a 14" bass and by the time he gets home with it he had a 16" that was a real fighter. probably biggest in the lake so he had to put it back to reproduce more lunkers :)

:grin: Ok guy`s talked to my buddy say`s no problem about RV. It has shower,tolite,genarator,stove frig. Get`s about 8-10 mile to gal. Two 50 gal tanks. Was thinking of renting a ride when we get there to run around in. If you guy`s up north could get down to col. in one car parking at my house is not a problem. From what i understand we take 70 west to st loius than 44 to OK. ill get a atlas make sure. try to work something out to lock up the guns. Rich

well it looks like we have a set date june 3-6 that a friday through monday of shooting. now do we want to drive up there on thursday? its going to take about 18 with pick stops hours to get there ,going the speed limit (he he he) but thats up to you gus i don't want to be driving something the size of a house so i'm not going to be behind the wheel. so is it early thursday mourning or wednesday afternoon or wednesday night ?i'm trying to see if i should take off wednesday too?

:D Ok guy`s we have set date`s. Im thinking leave wed afternoon.
come back mon afternoon have to be home the 7th for daughter`s birthday. This is not a rental im buming off a friend so you just have to chip in on gas, and do some driving. we can get rooms in hooker or go to RV park. any thought`s post Rich. ps wlscott ill be bringing a buddy of mine so that`s one more 4 sure.  :)

wish i could nail down a yes , but i havent a clue of if i will be able too go atthis time  all depends on work and finanices  atthat time so dont plan me in , sounds like yur goin to be filled up anyhow 4-5 in an rv? should be plenty what size bus is this thing?

:-) Well we have a lot of time before june. RV is 28 foot could get 10-12 people in it. for the ride should sleep 6-8. so if u can make it room is no problem. looks like it would only be 6 right now Rich

:D Ok guy`s this thing is getting close. I need to hear from Shaner & Mr. lizzard. i belive cattel skinner can`t  :(  make it. Mitchell My self and a buddy are a go. Any body else is more than welcome to ride along.
You can stay in RV or get a room when we get there.
O ya Wilscott if you see this. would it be possible to drive the RV some what close to where we will be shooting. That way i can put up awing and have the air on if some one need`s a break from the heat. Rich  :D

Fuzzy, I don't have a problem with it as long as the land owner doesn't have a problem.  I'll check and make sure.  The land owners get a little irritated if you drive on their grass, but there should be some way we can get it out there without parking it on the grass.
