What happens when the lite hits the coyote ?

What do you do if you hit a coyote with the light , with an amber lens , and turns out he's too far out for a shot ?
If an animal activist is being mauled by a bear should we stop it , or , " let nature take its course?"

I use a dark(very dark) red lense in my 1,000,000 CP spotlights. Usually I end up hitting them directly with the main beam every time. I just keep calling while I ease the main beam away from them, and keep them just in the edge of the light.

Most times they'll keep on coming in, if you don't change anything in the way you're calling, or make any sudden movements with the light.

I use a blue light(not just a lens and not a blacklight) in my 2.5 million CP spot and like the red lens the coyotes don't seem to be bothered too much by it as long as you don't leave them centered in the main beam.  Just keep coaxing them in with a call or squeaker until it's too late.  Lawdog
