Here is a link on an article that Walmart has agreed to pay a $14.5 million fine for improper gun sales in Ca.  The article states Wally world hasn't decided if it will continue gun sales in CA.

That is so like Kalifornia. I hate that place, and I lived there for 42 years. They are so anti gun. The state department of justice probably made some of that stuff up to shut Walmart down. The reality is that the legislature doesn't want guns avaiable to the public, and they pass stupid laws to make it too much trouble to purchase them. They still have a 10 day waiting period, and for hand guns you have to have some stupid license or something. That state really sucks.
Ohhhh, I hate when that happens

I have to agree with you 100%.

I'd love to retire to Idaho.  I'm even considering northern Nevada.  As for the waiting.  For a pistol you have to get a "safety certificate" of course you pay for it $25, then you "are allowed" to buy a handgun.  Mighty considerate of these commies to "allow" me to fulfill my constititutional rights.  My wife and kids live here, otherwise I would not.

I have stock in Wal Mart, and I have called several times asking when they'll sell again.  I personally feel they are being overly pressured to prevent them from selling guns again, Just like Fienstien and her commie followers in the Ca Justice Dept to pull that one.  They are really pathetic.
God, Family, and guns, in that order!

Handirifle, you didn't mention that last time we could take the "lifetime" safety course, which lasted about 4 years in my case. The test for the handgun safety certificate is a joke.

While I work in New Jersey, thankfully I don't live there. They won't sell guns at all in any of their Walmarts, or Kmarts, and that goes for ammunition as well. Right over the border in in Pa., the Walmarts all sell guns. I can't really blame them for their decission. Sometimes the cost of doing business outways the profit from that business. I'm sure they are well aware of the political climate of each state, and judge their sales accordingly.

Yeah, I passed that handgun safety test, then never used it. It was the BASF or something like that. I love it here in Utah though. I can walk out of a store with my gun in hand the same day I buy it. They use the instant background check, and I'm gone  :)
