4506 magazines

I have 5-6 45 ACP magazines for the 4506 pistol. They are the 2nd generation mags with yellow followers. Now S&W has 4506 magazines with a stronger spring and a black follower. Ocassionally one of my magazines will allow a round to pop out during recoil and drop to the ground. Does anyone know what S&W policy is on replacing the older magazines with new black follower magazines is???? Do they do is for free or charge you for the new ones??
I am asking before I contact S&W, for any experiences other have had on this.

Info from 2005 SHOT Show; S&W said their magazines are covered by the lifetime warranty as the handguns are. If problems, call S&W customer service and talk to them about it. Also, magazines kept fully loaded should be changed every 90 days to let springs rest.
