Finally got a buck bowhunting. :grin: This poor fellow wandered by my blind at 7:30 this morning. Not much of a story to go with it. Went out at 5:30 & sat lookn at the snow on the ground & the rain fallin down. Seen a few squirrels but no deer & was bout ready to clear out when low & behold lookit, over there, I think its a deer! & its got antlers too, I'll be snickered! Aint gonna come over here tho, thats askin way too much.
But he did. :grin: Took him 7 hours to die tho. :eek: I left & went back twice. the second time at 12:00 & I just sat & waited him out in the rain till I couldnt stand it no more. Tried stalkin into bow range & God was with me & allowed me to put another arrow in him from only 5 yards or so. Didnt do much after that.
I'll tell ya, I wasn't real sure about this bowhunting stuff last year when I started but to me theres nothing like it!
