I've had a 20ga Tracker II for about 3 yrs. I thought the kids could get more use out of it if I had a smooth-bore barrel for it. Being monetarily frugal(cheap) I picked up a barrel at a gun show instead of sending my receiver back to NEF. I bought a 22" Pardner SB1 for $30, but when I mounted it on the Tracker it does'nt lock up when you close it. I guess this is what they mean by "should be factory fitted".
I don't want anything done to my receiver that might change the lock-up of the slug barrel(it shoots great). I could probably get my money back at the next show and just buy a complete used gun for $50 or $60.
How many people have interchangable barrels they did'nt have to have factory fitted?
The front of the lug looks a little different on the SB barrel, as its rounded almost back to the roll pin. The Tracker barrel has a bit more steel in front of roll pin. I'm open to suggestions, sorry about the long post.
Thanks
