I would like to see the following bullets offered in 8mm (.323")
1. Nosler 220 grain Partition Spitzer;
2. Barnes 150 grain X bullet.
I love Nosler Partition bullets, I'm getting more fond of the .323 bore, and I would buy a 323 WSM or have some other 8mm magnum of Nosler would offer this bullet.
Always liked the idea of an 8mm Norma, i.e. a .308 Norma necked up to 8mm, or a .338 Win Mag or a .358 Norma necked down. I would have it made a a full length magnum action, but long throated so that the long 220 grain Nosler Partition could be seated with the bullet base flush with the base of the neck of the casing. You could get 2,900 with the 220 grain bullet. A Monster Masher that shoots flat and hard.
I saw a .350 Rem mag necked down to .323 and "improved" and it gave 2800 w/ Nosler 200 grain Partition and 2700 with 220 grain Hornady. About 100 fps slower than the new 325 WSM.
