458 Lott: Load recipes ?
« on: January 10, 2005, 07:05:07 AM »
Looking for some load data for my new .458 Lott bolt action.
Am interested in any 'pet' recipes for max velocity using 350gr Hornady RN, 400 speer soft points, and 500gr Hornady RN bullets.
Go MAGNUM/MAX LOAD or GO HOME !
Always use MUCH more gun than the minimum required to do the job.
Recoil is your FRIEND...It lets you know you are using something WORTHWHILE !

Thanks for the replies !

Ricciardelli:
Does Steve's pages give any velocity data ?
Without expected velocities, it kind of defeats my purpose of finding a max velocity load?
Judging from this website there are no published velocities....no way would I break out the chronograph to check 15 different loads in this thing.

Questor:
Did you really have to post the same website 5 times ?? LOL
