Federal offers a 150 grain Speer Hot-Cor in their Classic line.  I'd go with the 140 grain Nosler Partition load that they offer in their Premium line.  I use Nosler Partitions almost exclusively in rounds that take spitzer bullets.  Midway carries both types of Federal ammo.

Try the Hornady Light Magnums in 140gr.  They shoot very well in my rifle and at 3000fps, they are only 150fps behind a 7mm Remington Magnum.

I've been using 140 gr. bullets out of my 7-08 and .280, and never had a bad experience one. I can't get the 150 gr. ammo to shoot worth a darn out of the 7-08. 140 gr. is great though.

Ask GB that  140 grain will kill a 500 lb deer. Go with Hornady never look back!
