Iver Johnson Hammerless, Caliber?
« on: January 10, 2005, 06:39:16 PM »
My good friend got one of these from his grampa. It has a five shot cylinder. We cleaned it up realy well and it has a pristine bore and chambers. We would realy like to fire it. We know it is a .32 but thats all. The gun is not even marked for caliber! So what kind of thirty two is it a .32 short colt, .32 S&W long, or .32 S&W short or something else? And where can we find ammo for it? thanks a lot guys

There are so many models to chose from in the book but all of them when refering to the 32 cal. are being stated as the 32 S&W but to be on the SAFE side you need to have it checked out by a competent gunsmith, hope it has been of some help. :D    JIM
