want to add a tac rail

just curious if it is possible to add a tac rail to a sig p239 and if so what is a ballpark figure on cost?

Can't help there friend.  Afraid I don't do a lot of that sort of thing.  Perhaps some of the other folks here might have some idea?  Almost anything is possible but costs can get a bit high... Are you interested in an optical sioght mount or a front of triggerguard laser/lite mount?  My taste in handguns tends to the conservative. I prefer 1911 style pistols and am still debating lasers.  Tritium sight inserts are a good thing on personnal defense weapons but lasers I am unsure of.  Also I don't consider a handgun as a viable offensive weapon.  If going on the offense there are much better choices in my opinion.  Still the lasers have some really interesting defensive applications but I think I would gravitate to the 'LaserGrip' type as they make the weapon a lot less bulky..
