Marlin 7000

Hey Everyone,

I'm a new member and I was just wondering if we have anybody shooting a Marlin 7000, if so, how is your performance?  I shoot one and I like it a lot, its taken down too many squirrels, rabbits, woodchucks, and possum to count. Thanks!

Welcome MNJoel, glad you are here and glad to see you joined right up with the moderator duties  I had to look up the Marlin 7000 to see what it was and I am sure it is a nice rifle glad you like it and it has worked well for you. I have only shot one marlin semi auto a  friend had one and it was a good shooter. I feel the main reason that the Ruger 10/22 has such a following compared to the other brands of semi autos is  that the Ruger has so many after market parts and can be customized so easily. As Far as accuracy goes I think most of the factory 22's right out of the box are very comparable no matter what brand it is just a matter of choice. Glad you like your Marlin and post back often. Jim
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.
