Anybody tried Alpine?
« on: February 03, 2003, 01:05:24 AM »
I'm in the market for a bow and it seems like Alpine bows are very good buy.  Has anybody had experience with these, or have recomendations for another bow?

MinnesotaJoel,

If you want the quietest, most vibration free bow, not to mention one of the fastest bows on the market, then look into the C.P. Oneida "Black Eagle".  You can't find a quieter bow that is also vibration free than Oneida's.  They are also one if not the easiest bows to tune going.  On top of this they are the best looking compound bow closely looking like a modern recurve.  Classic written all over it.  Try one and you’ll find out why and you’ll never look back.  Lawdog

I used to rep for Oneida a few years ago, they are beautiful bows.  However, I'm a college student now and my budget is limiting me.....I hate that.  Thanks for the input.

isn't that what student loans are for? i'm pretty sure that's why they have them, so we can outfit ourselves for bow season.

 A buddy of mine shoots an Alpine and loves it. He says he's going to buy a new bow for next season, but it will be a Mathews.

Alpine is said to have the quietest bow out there, hear them tell it.

My Mathews is pretty quiet.

Onieda has alway been a good, quiet bow also.

I shoot an Onieda for fish.

ARMallardSlayer,

Yup, Oneida's are quiet.  If they won't spook a fish then they won't spook animals either.  Lawdog
