She's a cutie Bam Bams. What breed is she?  My daughter (age5) has been begging her Mom and I for a puppy.  I'm seriously thinking about getting a German Shorthair Pointer.  I've read that they are very versatile hunting dogs and also make very good family pets.  Anyone have any experience with them?

Well............

The pound said the was Bull Mastiff, mixed with Rottweiler and Border Collie.

The vet said she was 90% Bernese Mountain Dog.

I haven't a clue.  

She does look an awful lot like a Bernese pup though???

Anyone else care to chime in?

She's a great pup so far.  She respects the word "NO!".  She enjoys going for walks, and I think she is going to be a breeze to obedience train.  She is chewing everything she can get her mouth on.  My hands and arms look like they went through a paper shredder.  *laugh*
