This thing is a hoot.   I've been shooting at a 3/8" plate this afternoon from about 65yds just playing around offhand.  I'm not much of a shot with iron sights but at this point that is irrelevant.   I loaded up a couple of the 350gr GCWFN boolits I cast from a Mountain Molds mold (that looks strange to see it written out hehe) and some 400gr Remington JSPs that I had.  IMR-4198 near the top of the trapdoor range with the WFNs and about 4.4cc of FFg 777 with the Remingtons.   The 350s had some real pop to them... and the plate showed it.  The 400s were plainly slower and softer but much more pleasant to shoot.  I haven't tried the 777 with cast yet.... but gimme a few... it's starting to get dark and I still got a couple primed brass left.

Woooo Hoooo(t),
