Howdy all
I am looking for a source for a 45LC barrel for a H&R Handi Rifle. The factory doesn't offer one and I would like to get one. Any help is appreciated.

Yep! Found it. It is listed with the shotgun barrels not with the rifle barrels. Will it work ok on the SB-2 rifles? How accurate is it? I want to use it with black powder for CAS side matches. :D Thanks for the info. :D

No personal experience here but from what I have read posted, accuracy is iffy because they have that loooong 410 shotgun chamber.  The bullets have a huge jump from the case till they meet rifling. Hutchhandiman is trying to solve that problem by using altered 444 cases to get the bullet out there at the rifling to start with.  I'm very interested in seeing how he makes out.

Yes I do have a .45 lc / 410 .  Just so you know that barrel come with a shotgun sight, not rifle.  But I did have a wever mount added to mine, and it seems to be holding just fine up against my experimental rounds.

Now I have also fired .45 Colt +P rounds from this and have seen no pressure problems yet, just need to make more so I can see what my targets will look like

I take it that a 45-70 loaded with 300 grainers using about 10 grains of Unique or 12 or so of Blue Dot for a nice sedate 900-1000 fps won't do what you want?

NO  the 410/45 is not tapped...

it just has plain shotgun ball up front.

I took mine to my smith (find one that you know does good work) and he tapped, died and installed a weaver mount for $50.00 mount included.
