Ruger No. 1 Trigger
« on: January 14, 2005, 07:11:51 AM »
Does anyone have any experience here with the Moyers replacement trigger for a No. 1.  How is installation?  Was there an improvement after installing the replacement?  Thanks.

Ruger No. 1 Trigger

I installed one on my #1S 218 Bee and it made a world of difference. It was not really hard to install, but if you are not skilled and unwilling to file off some of the safety for proper operation, I'd leave it to someone else.
I have also altered the factory trigger on one of my #1s and was able to get just as good a pull as the Moyers. This requires adding a piece to the trigger and D&Ting for the third (engagement) screw that Ruger (or their lawyers) removed when the 132- prefix guns came out.
