Sent my 357 Frame off to be fitted with a 38-55 barrel this morning, bought molds, some powder adn a few other supplies gearing up for this puppy. I've still got to buy the dies.
This frame had a broken firing pin (acidental hammer drop, wasn't even dry firing it) Called customer service to find out the repair cost of that, no charge, it is warranty work  Way Cool.
The question remains what kind of dimensions this barrel, chamber, throat will have. It sounds like the bore dimensions are true to original 38 rifle barrel dimensions. Seems the chamber dimensions are a bit tight. I've decided I ain;t going to put up with too much crap far too easy to rechamber it to 38-56. That should clean the chamber up proper and give me an extra 10 grains or so of case volume to play with to boot.
Can't wait , I can't wait
