and i have to say the thing is DAMN ADDICTING! i've been up to the range 2x in three days and already put over a hundred rounds through it. the gun is a tack driver, however i as of yet am not.  im having trouble bringing the groups much under 2in at 100yards. im positive its my lack of ability not the gun.

i cant believe im puttin over 50 rounds through this thing each time i go out! i thought a single shot would help me save ammo!

oh if anyone cares i glassed it wiht a bushnell 2-6 trophy, if you havent tried these scopes they are great. definatly a good buy for under 200.
if by yes you mean no then definately

ya might try tuning up the trigger, and floating the forearm to squeeze a lil more accuracy out. a good rest and bench techniques will also help a lot. loading tailored handloads for the barrel can improve accuracy even further over factory loads. there are tons of good .223 loads out there.

for a quick fix, gb's method of folding a few layers of electrical tape and placing near the 2 attachment screws works.
i use 2 stainless washers placed between barrel n forearm, and sand out the forend if needed to get total clearance. you want to be able to slide a dollar bill freely between barrel n forearm.

also a custom forend with hanger bar can be used.
