Hooked

:) The bug bit me hard yesterday.  I walked in a local gun store and left wiith a new Encore and four barrels.I picked up the gun (NIB) with three new barrels and one used one for $750.  The used barrel, a .223 has Simmons Pro 50 mounted on it, the three new ones are .270, .308 and 22-250 with a Vari-X III Leupold.  This little gun looks like it will be a ton of fun, and will create a never ending search for new barrels.

You have only begun, but it sounds like an auspicious beginning!  You have covered the spectrum pretty well--won't ever need another barrel.  Wrong!  The bug that bit does not go away.  The hunger is not satiated only appeased.  Welcome to the world of TC adddicts.  I've been almost three months without buying a barrel, but I did somewhat sqelch the urge with the purchase of a rather nice Super Blackhawk.  As soon as I finish up the job I'm doing it's off to the gunshops again.  I need to have barrel twenty by summer. That should be enough--right?

I'd say you done real good!  A Leupold Vari-X III is worth $300 alone!  And a NIB barrel is worth $200.

Enjoy.
