If you can post a picture of that fine looking dog in your avatar surely you can post a picture of this interesting sounding gun.  Is it a straight or pistol grip stock. I know in the old retail parts catalog I had they refered to straight or english stocks as "Squire" stocks. Let us have a look. I just picked up something called a topper delux slug gun that I had never heard of before.
PROUD REDNECK CONSERVATIVE

I'd much rather be remembered for being a great shot than having the most expensive gun

Found one here. http://www.gunsamerica.com/guns/976242196.htm

20 gauge though. Couldn't find anymore info than this.

i'll get a pic up monday late afternoon but the stock is a "regular" style just like in NIXTER's link. TALO SQUIRE is stamped right above the serial# info on the receiver side. the wood has a darker finish than id ever seen but it may have been refinished before (a fine job though).

Using Google, Talo seems to be a Finnish name. Perhaps a call to the factory is in order. Or maybe someone has catalogs from the time this gun was produced to explain the Talo Squire label.

Is there a book on H&R/NEF history?
