ordered stainless sidekick
« on: January 16, 2005, 11:16:42 AM »
I just ordered a stainless sidekick ($203) with 26" barrel and comp stock.  I do a lot of woodworking ( custom longbows and bamboo fly rods), so I am thinking of making a laminated stock for it as they look very nice and are stable.  My question is what are the demensions on the butt and fore stock.  I would need heigth, width and length based upon what size wood block I would need for each.  Assume a block of wood that I would use as the base to cut out pattern so I do not need drop, length of pull or any of that - just for example 36" x 10" x 4" for butt...

Thanks ahead of time for measuring as I can order up the block ahead of time from my supplier.
