Fishy, of course you're right. I just hope Remington gets it turned around.
I haven't been too impressed since I bought an original Mountain rifle,
maybe 1988. Now you can bet the ranch come November 06', I will be in my favorite spot, with my Weatherby o6' (220's). Maybe the mountain rifle will get a workout later that season. Wouldn't it be great if Remington came out with the original blue Mountain as a commerative, with Spainish Claro Walnut stock, slight engraving to note the year. Weatherby type recoil pad, and a nice leupold Vari X III. Maybe I'm a rediculous dreamer
(for under a grand)... But Remington needs to do something for the consumer, after recent faux pas!
